Shawn Stevenson is a father, a husband, an O.S.U. Beaver, and last but definitely not least an OAWU Team/Staff member. He is in his fourth year with OAWU.  Mr. Stevenson enjoys the outdoors, with activities including camping and water and snow sports.  He is also an automotive road racing enthusiast and participates in as many events as time permits each season.
 

Mr. Stevenson’s position at OAWU is Source Water Specialist, and although the position seems to be Psuedo-environmental, the real core of the approach taken is in the interest of the people involved and maintaining the quality of their water. One of the biggest advantages of his job is working with water systems who take the initiative to be proactive in protecting their source. This position affords him the opportunity to work with diverse personalities and the individual specifics that make up many of Oregon’s rural communities.  One thing  evident in his travels across the state is that there are a lot of good folks in the water business.
